THE BIRTH OF MY FLOWER FARM

I am sharing the tiny space with the new fence posts (way on the other side of the field, to the right of the gorgeous red barn) with a friend, we are farming half each - and here is the beginning of my dream - Half Acre Flower Farm.

10 ft deer fence all around, a small grassy landing spot to keep clean - when it rains, it's a clay mud pit!  The concrete blocks merely add a good barrier between grass and growing, bark chip pathways and a 50ft row of Nigella and some Lace Flower

A first attempt at sweet peas, hopefully there is enough soil amendment down there to get them going

WAY OVER ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THIS FIELD, ON THIS GORGEOUS FARM DOWN THE ROAD,  IS "HALF ACRE",  STILL TO BE FENCED, TRENCHES DUG FOR WATER,  AND BEDS CREATED TO TURN IT FROM A WINTER WONDERLAND TO A FLOWERING WONDERLAND - EXCITING!!
